Festival Fever

Here’s to wishing that there will be a Glastonbury Festival in Malaysia! Or any kinda music and performing arts festival! I know we have our Sarawak Rainforest Music Festival, as well as the Penang Jazz Festival but somehow they aren’t quite the same as a HUGE Glastonbury Festival. Anyhoo, just because we don’t have that festival here doesn’t mean we can’t get all dressed up anyway! :)

So here’s around of outfits to wear to the Glastonbury Festival should we ever have one. :)

Gorgeous long cotton maxi! I believe that every girl should have at least one simple maxi dress in their closet! Or if you’re me, you could have a few more simple maxis! The colour choice of your said maxi is up to you, personally I have one in black, white, turquoise and I am considering throwing in a mandarin & green colour one! Just to spice things up a little! This maxi comes with a simple triangle shaped bust, and an empire waist, the strap of the maxi can be tied up into a halter or crisscrossed down the back or just pull straight into a simple spaghetti strap design. If you haven’t got your basic maxi, here’s one for you! Or if you already have one, heck why not add it in another colour as well! :)

These are my favourite knits!
There’s absolutely nothing I love more than knits! Okay, I love satin, silk, chiffon, cotton… I digress. Malaysia being the hot country it is, doesn’t really give me the opportunity to shop or wear any form of knits, so when the chance comes that I should be able to find a knit top that can be worn in our humid weather, I stop thinking and make a dash for it! This one comes with a simple tank top inside and a lovely V-neck knit top for the outside. Don’t limit yourself to just pairing this knit top with a black tank, go crazy and pair it with tanks of various colours and length! Or if you’re daring go for it without a tank and just a brightly coloured sports bra, or heck even your happy coloured bikinis would work! :)

Another fun knit top! This one not as body hugging as the one above, on the contrary this particular knit top is perfectly oversized and loose! Just the way I like things! When me and Pop first saw this top we knew in our hearts we had to get it! Totally fun and knitted with it’s giant red heart in the middle just totally won us over. Gotta love the wide neckline, the short crop top, and it’s cut out sleeves! Hello, fun times! :)

And that’s all for now! :) We’re taking a break from our usual dressy pieces and brought in these casual pieces instead. What’d ya guys think? :)

Till next time!
